I defended him because he was being attacked from all sides. Most people will stand up for their friends if they know them well enough. This thread is proof of that.

Odd maybe that someone needs to be defended from so many?  Could it be that so many others find him offensive or a pain in the butt?  The latter is just nuisance value but following people around to make sick and abusive comments is just plain wierd, and why he was exposed on Niks thread.  fb gave subtle hints he was disappearing and has now reappeared with yet another account name.

Then kayak, I think you need to defend him from himself rather than others, if you must defend him. As these are the consequences, of his actions which, as you've said, you cannot control.

I don't think he can control himself, he shows all the signs of a twisted individual intent on making others as unhappy as himself. He had several offers of a truce, all he had to do was try and be normal.  Obviously a bit too much for him and so he suffers the consequences, a bit like the nasty kid in school; nobody likes him.  Hence the new characters all the time, but still can't disguise his twisted soul
