“You want some?”
*I hold the bucket out, accidentally pouring the contents on my foot*
Bachi’s thirst leaves him as his feet are splashed.
“Uh… no, thank you, sir.”
“You want some?”
*I hold the bucket out, accidentally pouring the contents on my foot*
Bachi’s thirst leaves him as his feet are splashed.
“Uh… no, thank you, sir.”
Bachi’s eyes pop wide open at the sound of a bullet.
”…Did you hear that?”, he says to the person beside him.
The gunshot rings out around the area, alerting everyone nearby. The man manages to ring the bell a single time before being shot in the back with presumably a .45 Colt, going down instantly. The foreman trembles.
"Whaddya want from us? We're just a poor copper mine. Surely you outlaws have better targets."
"Just needed something to do. Stealing your copper seemed like fun."
The two men continue to sweep through and secure the area.
"Alright, boys! Load it up! We're done here."
The two men struggle somewhat to put the copper in a nearby horsecart. One of them attach the cart to their horse, and we set off.
As you get onto your horses, the people outside break for cover. You soon learn why, as three of the private security from earlier run up from inside the mine, wielding lever action rifles and revolvers. They begin to fire at you indiscriminately.
As they fire at us, I stop my horse to shoot one of them. The bullet hits him between the eyes with deadly accuracy.
The other two security guards run for cover, one hiding behind a stack of crates, and the other hiding behind a pile of rocks. They fire again, one bullet hitting the bottom right leg of your horse, and the security guards duck behind cover to reload.
"Damn it.. Are you ok..?"
I attempt to continue riding my horse, but it can't continue. I whistle for the man riding the horse not towing anything to come and pick me up. I continue shooting at the two guards while hiding behind a conveniently placed rock.
The bullets hit the cover, but not the guards. They continue to fire at your general location, with little success other than suppression. The guy not towing anything runs around and picks you up. The sound of gunfire emanates from the direction of the mine, unmistakable. Anyone could easily hear that there is a full on gunfight happening near the mine. The deputy has tinnitus and doesn't hear.
Of the old houses nearby, the closest one is actually a decrepit bar, with no one inside.
"I need to get outta' this place at some point man is crazy out here..." *He hides behind an old building*
Miranda's ride toward the mine doesn't draw much attention from the town, only a small cloud of dust on the horizon riding for an indeterminate point. No one inside Filthvale really notice the bandits, though the figure from far away notices them quickly.
Outside the mine, what is presumably the foreman and a few other administrative officials are conversing, while miners work large quantities of extracted copper. They notice you, but don't notice your guns until it's too late. One of the officials runs to ring a bell that will certainly alert security personnel.
