Towards the CVC - leading those to the light.

As a lot of you probably already know, there have been many ‘Towards the CVC’ posts both on OTF and in @long-kit’s blogs that have either outraged or entertained people. However, this particular member isn’t the only one who has had issues with CVC. AGC’s thread mentioned getting banned for no particular reason as well…

Perhaps what I’m getting at is that while CVC is still a very popular club across the social side of this website, it is clear that more members than ever before are unhappy with how the club is being run, and that the glory days of CVC are gone. There are too many arguments, disputes over leadership, and too much censorship. CVC is not a fun environment, and finally, people are finding better alternatives, like OTF. 

But, there is one man (woman in the shower) on this website who can fix this. You’re reading his post right now, even! This is my application to take over the club. I come with the expectation that all my wishes will come true, since my fortune cookie from months ago said so. I’d like to lead CVC back to its former glory from two years ago and not have to watch such a club crumble like all of the others. It’s about someone of integrity, swexyness, and someone who has elite club ownership skills to take over.

Now, some of you may be reading (maybe; most people just read the title) and not taking this seriously. However, I really do think I pose as the perfect club owner for this club. I’ll make the club more fun by allowing people to start drama and providing popcorn and drinks to watch. I’ll remove everyone’s SA and admin title to crush their dreams and realize that they’re more than a club admin. I think this thread needs a little more chaos and less order to make it great again. In my eyes, we should let the kids have a bit of fun with themselves. The constant bickering is very entertaining, and people shouldn’t be banned from a club they deeply care about for no reason, like many have been before.

Now, before you accept my application and make me the new owner, I have a few things I need. The first thing I ask for is a throne that I can lie down in, so I can tower over people and not have to get out of bed. The second thing I ask for is a giant CVC-decorated cheesecake that is roped off for decoration. And finally, the last thing I wish for is a heated blanket so I don’t get too cold while posting. 

Christmas has come early. Your new owner is here, ready to make CVC great again. If I can do it with OTF, I can sure do it with a struggling club. Change can be hard, but also necessary at times. I’ll have a suggestion box for everyone to put their best suggestions in, and pretend to read and acknowledge them, so that you all feel welcome and free. Let's end this corruption and start fresh. 

If not, Kit and I will come get you.

Then again, a junta generally isn't with the old leaders' consent. Maybe this is more like the Glorious Revolution.
