Tracking progress with bots. Please let me know.

Hey guys, I need someone to tell me if this could actually help me improve or not. I was thinking of playing every bot in a row until I fail to beat one, once I lose I would watch suggested lessons from game review and try again. I would keep repeating this until I beat the bot with white and black pieces in a row. Then move to next bot, watch the lessons if I lose and so on. If necessary I would re-watch lessons because I might have missed something as long as they are suggested in post game review. I just beat Emir with bot black and white pieces and it was difficult since I am 700 rated. Do you guys think this is a good idea to improve since I can kind of track my progress by beating harder bots or is it waste of time?
