Save up your pounds and purchase an ipad.  Then you can take your computer access with you.

Watch TV instead.  Or put a TV in your Rest Room.  Then post away.

Or...admitting you post too much isn't the issue.  Admit you like just like it Soorat!  Post & be proud.  At least you always find something to say.  I'm sure that's a good thing really.

Somebody should invent a browser plugin that only allows a small number of chess.com forum views and posts a day.

every post i make i pour a tiny bit of me into it ... and i was only 4' 11" to start with - now i've posted so often I need to run over the keyboard like a tiny lilliputian in a land of giant computers

We can all be serious or not.  I question that it should be resticted to a limited number of posts.

They are for serious chess discussions and when the topic of chess becomes stale some sensible alternatives are:-

Can you daydream at night?

If Mars had earthquakes would they be called Marsquakes?

Did Noah have woodpeckers on the ark? What about woodworm? Were these not a big health and safety risk?

What is the correct way to stand while waiting for paint to dry?

When is it acceptable to blame an elderly lady for your passing of wind?

This is not a place for jokes and silly immature humour!

I often wonder why we can't have chess boards in pink & blue.  Perhaps furry with velcroe bases.
