There is little hope to make Greeks understand that this behavior is totally foolish and they should already have understood what is happening.
However, being cheated by the newspapers with such a foolish habit (printing the same texts for 22 years) means only one thing. That the readers are far more foolish than the publishers, because they believe what the publishers print and obviously have accepted them as modulators of the public opinion. When you blindly follow the printed matter then you indirectly declare that the publishers are cleverer than you and you need a leader to guide your life. And since you are non mentally refined, you are not really clever and lack many elements of sentimental intelligence then the choice is really disappointing. Yes, it is disappointing to form opinion from what the papers tell you. It is totally absurd to believe that there is a writer who has been sending the same letters for 22 years. It does not make any sense.
The conclusion is that the Greeks are responsible for everything they suffer from, because they are not careful with their choices and they do not like to think simply and logically.
Ubelievable fact about the Greeks.

The question is why the Greeks pay for newspapers every day... If we assume that there is an economic crisis, then this money should be valuable for them and their families. Instead they keep funding those people who lie on their face every single day. There is not any logical argument to justify this behaviour. The only thing one can think of is that the Greeks are not clever people. It is sad to admit, but it is the only explanation.

The majority of the people here have a 24hour access to the internet. This could be a useful tool to inform each other about what is really happening. But even when I write the truth they don't understand it. Most of them just use the facebook to say to each other "how pretty you are", "what a cousin I have, you are a model ", "nice place there, where is it?", "good appetite, what a table full of spicy stuff" etc. They don't take advantage of the best tool they have. For God's sake, the internet can give us more information if we use it properly, but sadly the vast majority react in a very strange way. When they read the truth they just forget about the text and keep surfing on the internet looking for "more interesting" things to see. So, another sad conclusion is that the truth is not really interesting and fascinating for them. They want to pay for strange stories and read all the silly nonevents which the newspapers create in order to take their money. The readers are responsible for all the lies, the hypocrisy and the underestimation the publishers have for them. The readers are responsible for the republication of old texts on the papers, they are responsible for everything is happening in their life, they are responsible because they believe that there is really a crisis in Greece. The crisis is inside their minds, they are totally confused, they don't have the ability to judge what is true and what is a lie. People have the politicians and the means of misinformation they deserve.

This is true of all people in the world, not just Greece. The majority of people are sheep. They just repeat what the mainstream media tell them. They have narrow, selfish, stupid motivations dictated by their immediate comfort zones. It always has astonished me to the extent this also applies to accomplished professional people - but they are limited beneficiaries of the status quo...and so we have our prison of ignorance.

Until today there is not any obvious solution. You can't just make the Greeks cleverer in one second. But the question is WHYdon't they try to do something better for them and for their children?

Ziggy_Zugzwang
You are right. But some things are more than obvious. How can people be so sheep? Where is the common sense?

The absurdity continues.
It still happens, even though it is not logical. The same texts are printed again and the Greeks believe that they were recently written again by the same person!! There is no hope to make the Greeks think logically. WHY can't they understand that the newspapers keep publishing the same things for years because they just want to do it?
I would like to see a man working for the disgusting papers, a real man, who feels that he is wearing trousers, to clearly declare why they behave like that, why they keep publishing the same texts for years.
But wait, maybe they are not real men, because men don't act like that. What a shame for them, to handle the means of information so dirtily and defame someone who did not harm them in order to win a little bit more money.
The citizens of Greece do not seem to be capable of reversing the situation.
If you want to change something then you have to act differently which means that you also have to think differently, or as it is said "think out of the box". The real problem with the vast majority of the Greeks is they don't want to admit that their brains are imprisoned inside the box. Try to tell them something different from what they watch on the tv or they read in the newspapers and you will see that they will not even believe that it exists or that this version of the facts is the true one. Many people here spend so many hours every week for years commenting and judging the nonevents that are announced by the means of total misinformation. It is very easy to spread lies all over the place, but if you tell the truth then there is little probability that the Greeks will believe you.
For all of you who do not live here, I am going to tell you right now something unbelievable. The greek newspapers keep publishing some texts for 22 years. Can you imagine the result? If you think that the readers called them in order to stop the fraud then I am sorry to say, but you did not guess right... You can't believe what is happening!! The readers believe that the writer of the texts is so persistent that he insists on sending the same texts for years!!!!!
