So I downloaded the free Stockfish program from their website. Now what?
All I see in the zip compression folder is 3 seperate folders: "src", "src_c++11" and "Windows", followed by four other items, "Copying" (text document), "logo" (bitmap image), "polyglot" (Configuration Settings), and "Readme.md" (MD File).
In the "src" and "src_c++11" folders I see a bunch of "H" and
CPP" files. In the "Windows" folder I see "stockfish_14053109_32bit", "stockfish14053109_x64", and "stockfish_14053109_x64_modern", all application files.
So where is the actual program? Is this it? I don't see any instructions on how to use what at this point is gibberish to me. I was expecting it to be an actual program where I could plug in games to analyze. Do you need to be a coding expert to use this thing?
Any help would be appreciated. Right now this thing is just going to be a waste of space unless I can figure out what it does and how to use it.
