A computer game I loved and spent countless hours playing was “FTL”. A roguelike , procedurally generated space odyssey where you upgrade your ship and crew navigating sectors on your hunt to destroy the enemy flagship. Very difficult, impossible if you don’t continually pause and unpause using the spacebar to aim your weapons and order your crew. Additional ship types get unlocked for future replays when you complete objectives, further increasing replay value.
Batman Arkham series, if you have an Xbox, you will be able to play them

Surviving Mars. The weeks after I first bought that game were intense. I played for so many hours trying to complete all the challenges that it was continuing to punch the clock enough to survive on Earth that was the worse challenge.
