King island is the west island located between Tasmania and mainland Australia, northwest of Hobart. Why am I going southeast?

I already have beijing

I start using my military to expand out down south conquoring the other big chinese cities. I continue expanding my military and equipping them with state of the art wheapons (for 1800).
