I feel sorry for the OP, getting all these pointless answers. Yes, I wear glasses and am sure many others do too. 
I'm 46 and wore glasses since I was 12. The best thing about glasses is to see behind you from the glass reflection.

from elementary school I should have, but rarely did, some of my early marks at school were affected by the lack of wearing specs, so it's not that I'm wearing glasses, albeit rarely, because I'm cool or something

for -1 I never needed them in every day life, but you know, it's not that you can always see everything that is being written in class, but I was lucky enough because it stayed that way, dark places are a problem too but anyway

I've just had to start wearing glasses for reading etc. Does anybody else wear glasses on chess.com? I'm 48 by the way.
