weightlifting
I have been doing weightlifting professionally for several years. At the moment I am preparing for the competition.
Bodybuilding?
I switched from squats to lunges(with added weight of course)
I alternate
But I base my movements on vertical movement day and horizontal movement day
Hmm, that's an interesting idea.

I would be very surprised if you're not a bot.
In my late 50's, I've stopped going to the gym because I can't stand the music. Additionally, I had to quit football, cricket, and skiing because of my Achilles and ACL ruptures. Nowadays I keep my weight and blood pressure under control by going on long walks - typically 8-10 miles - through nature while swinging a pair of 4-5kg dumbells. I think I probably look like a nutter, but it's hugely enjoyable.

weightlifting is a hobby/project of mine. so i thought id make a thread about it and see if any of you guys have any interest in it. maybe you can share effective programs, brag about what you can lift or used to lift, nutrition advice, any tips or warnings etc?
You should have5 lifts (multi joint lifts) 5 sets each. 8-10 reps each set. Eat 30% protein 35% carbs (mostly complex) no sugar.
When I got out of service 40 years ago I weighed 145 lbs. today at 66 I weigh 195 and I'm not fat.
