Really, the chess board has taught me a special lesson today ! I often make complaint if my opponent uses abusive words in the chat box. But this time , let me reveal, I have been harsh with my opponent and the way he replied has been a life-teaching for me. During this game (http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=1200732529) my opponent ismailove07 has really made a blunder and fallen to a primary trap in king’s gambit. And I advised him to learn the opening well first and then come to play. After the game we have had further a couple of games as well. And in one of the later games I played falkbear counter gambit. Again he fell to tactical fabric. And I addressed him by ‘boy’. And I also mentioned the variation name exhibiting my ‘scholarship’ in king’s gambit.
Then to my utmost surprise my opponent said, “you are good”. I have immediately been ashamed of my words and sought pardon. He has replied even with more beautiful way, saying “it’s Ramadan; accepted.”
What a learning !!! May be I am a bit good in chess compared to him. But the lesson he taught me is a universal one. Thanks to my arrogance which has leaded to this consequence.
