I'd like to keep this one alive because I like to map here
Ok. Jesus loves unconditionally. Forever. Never stops. Even from the horrible death of the cross his only thoughts were "Father, forgive them. They know not what they do." Going through that much suffering and all he can think about is forgiving. Dude, if that doesn't make you feel small, you ain't real.
Thunder....its a wonderful story but doesnt really fit in with the idea that, if you arent a christian, you are not forgiven. So its unconditional forgiveness with conditions attached.
You are not forgiven unless you accept his gift. Nothing could buy forgiveness of sins.
Thats what i find odd. Jesus cant forgive unless you believe in him, but many people are born in countries of a different religion, or are scientifically minded so dont believe..he presumably doesnt forgive them. Yet an ordinary human is capable of forgiving no matter what.

Don't you think if people can be graceful enough to give their lives for others there are certainly going to be examples of people forgiving beautifully

How is someone going to forgive you if you aren't sorry? God is real and he wants you to accept His gift and have everlasting life with Him.
