Yes. Also known as sodium or the common table salt. That's delicious ain't it?

I think "common table salt" is "Sodium-Chloride" while Sodium is just ... well Sodium. I guess your halfway to the "delicious" compound you crave - but table salt is more than just Sodium. Sodium alone is commonly found in microwave soups (often unhealthy) but is different from salt (Sodium tastes salty since Sodium AND Chloride make up salt).
