I’m from the US. Here, near where I live, we have the longest snow drought in history(almost.) We haven’t had snow yet and normally by now we have already had a lot.

I’m from the US and was born in Maine, where I currently live.

Our state slogan is “The way life should be.” I would say that’s true, from my experience (I have worked hard to make it so), but not all who live in Maine would agree.

That said, Mainers have a tendency to come together and help each other out in tough times - we have a very high community service and volunteer rate, for instance.

Our state bird is the Chickadee and we are known for our lobster 🦞.
