What pet would you like to have if money and housing wasn't a problem?

for me it's a hard tie between a chameleon and a few guinea pigs. why? because both are dorkishly amazing. pigs squeak at you when they recognize you. Chameleons literally will grab into anything you hand them. imagine a chameleon holding a small nerf gun. both are somewhat needing creativity to take care of.

plus I would totally get brightly colored objects for the chameleon to lay on.
If money and housing wasn't a problem I would pick a whale. Just imagine having a WHALE as your pet.

id go with a dog at present my tenancy agreement is no pets , i have to respect that or get kicked out , but if that problem was removed then a two year old male mongrel rescued from living in a dogs home would be my go to friend
But alas, they are extinct.

Does it have to be one pet? If money were not an issue, I'd buy all the land where elephants, rhinos, lions, etc live and hire protection against poachers- lots of that - and they'd all be my "pets" but free.
