Probably Any Micheal wood crime book for adults . Maybe the one where the killer takes and kills all the boys and there would be a better ending where it's not the dad and someone else.

The seventh victim by Micheal wood . There's some sensitive scenes in the book so wouldn't recommend for younger audiences , hence why it's an adults book
The Pucture of Dorian Gray has a massive plot twist near the end. Two, actually. The first when the creator of the titular painting is killed, and I can’t share the other. It would be a massive spoiler.
