My guess is.. Scientist discover that LHC is not strong enough to find the "God Particle" 
and they will have to spend another few billion euros on building a better one.
They make premium membership free ..

After Avatar turns out to be a flop and finanacial disaster, Cameron announces his next flix will be a $500 million movie about Bobby Fischer...but set in space and in 3D with smell-o-vision.
