What's The Coolest Melee Weapon?

No, I just looked it up. It says it fires ink so I thought it was a ranged weapon

Taco from the comedy The League loved his Japanese polearm so much he made a song about it, “Naginata, naginta, that’s what I’m inta”.

I’ve heard that maces were more status symbols than effective armaments. It had the connotation of being a scepter and associated with authority and rulership. The flanged mace required a much higher level of craftsmanship and detail than say an axe. They were deadly for sure, but probably not quite as practical for fighting.
