Rock from the 1970s and 80s.
Pink Floyd.
I could post more of their stuff... but you probably want one song from each group.
Led Zeppelin is another great band from that same era ('70s-'80s).
This next bit is actually quite funny... Ghislaine Valdivia, a world-famous classical cellist (ie: plays classical music on the cello), is playing a classical piece (Beethoven, Mozart, or who-ever) on the cello when suddenly she just says "#&@% it!" and starts playing "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin instead!

Pink Floyd again. This woman's voice is just amazing.
Then there's David Bowie... his singing and Mick Ronson's guitar playing meshed perfectly.
I was named after Bowie. My parents are big fans.
Think my favourite song of his is "heroes", because it's when he went sort of electro. Loads of good stuff.
