I'm more of a literalist.

Impressive! I find using one consonant for so long wears me out, so I resign myself to someiteralism.

Consonants are cheaper by the dozen...or if you're tired, cheaper while your dozing.

I don't celebrate hallowe'en.

Even if it's a great deal, I can't take advantage of it. I've taken a vow of vowels.

Lawdoginator

I don't eat candy anymore, so Halloween is kind of meh now.

I was thinking of going as a nudist because you don't even need a costume just gotta walk around naked for a few hours and you are good. If the cops caught me I'd be gone though so.

Halloween's about so much more than candy, though! I'd love ot make an outfit like the one I posted, but I'm afraid that if I start now I might not have enough time to finish it.

I made a hand knit (shut up) chain mail shirt and a haand sewn (again shut up) midevil like ren shirt with the elastic cuffs and everything and a scabbard made my own sword and sewed custom pants and got a robin hood hat and went as a knight. And a kid in a ninja turtles costume won the contest.

That's actually pretty cool. More people should know how to work fabric by hand, and I always havea  soft spot for homemade costumes.

Turtle kid may have won the contest, but if it's any consolation he wouldn't last 5 minutes in medieval France.

Where do you wear the scabbard? Side or back?

And how long is the sword?
