Where have all the flowers gone ?

Kate Wolf... I don't have any of her albums but I remember learning of her death sometime in the 1980s and listening to a retrospective on the radio. A sweet voice, lovely lyrics and a good picker.

When I think of the name Guthrie the first song that comes into my mind is " The City Of New Orleans " as done by the young Arlo. One of my favourite songs of all time ( mind you I did spend many years working on a major railway ).

Did you realize that Arlo Guthrie made it famous but it was written and first recorded (better in my opinion) by Steve Goodman, a folk singer out of Chicago. He died of leukemia rather young.
