He wasn't asking to stay. He was listing why this site was better.

Are these really the questions you asked me here to answer. Please tell me you haven't pinned your hopes on this child.

@YamiYugioh - 913Glorax12 and kaynight are right though. It's safer on chesskid.com. If you're here, i hope your parents are aware of it, and are monitoring your activities.

This site is better when you have a thick skin and a sense of humor (preferably a mature one)

Avatar of x-5058622868

Sorry, but i don't see the humour at the expense of a 12 yr old.

i have a lot of humor

and my parents know im on here

Great! Now all you need is the thick skin. You'll have to ask your parents for the surgery though! Surprised

Oh no, I was not saying to laugh at him! Foot in Mouth

Simply stated what was needed to have a fun time here

True, but i think there should be some boundaries.

Avatar of 913Glorax12

Yes, there should be and there are.

Just not as restrictive as Chesskid.com is

Though if the parents already know about this site and knowing it is open to more than just kids; and are fine with it.Who are we to move him?

However, those two rules still apply and any kid should be warned before joining

Avatar of x-5058622868

I doubt the parents are aware of how rude some players (sore losers) can be. I agree that it isn't our obligation to move him.

True, that those rules still apply, and kids should be warned, but at the same time, i think the people having fun should be a little more cautious with the choice of targets.

@YamiYugioh - I was kidding about the surgery. In case you didn't know, having thick skin means you can take the insults and roll with the punches. There's more of that going on in this site than i would guess is happening on chesskid.

Avatar of 913Glorax12

That is the point, we don't think, we type. lol

Avatar of x-5058622868

Heh, yeah, i guess so. Anyway, i'm glad everything seems to be squared away. Thanks.

I'm not sure why kaynight was so insulting - I think they're very good drawings. I prefer the first one.

He was joking

But I don't think they are good drawings, and kay might agree with me.

As for the pictures, have you seen the movie, "TRON"  with one of the Bridges brothers??      To survive in these forums, you just need a little body armor.

Avatar of BishopTARDIS

You are doing it backwards. You need to determine what your character does before determining what he looks like. For example if he flies, heavy armor makes no sense as it would weigh him down. Or if he could swim to the bottom of the ocean, he might have accessory gills. Form follows function.
