Makers Mark, pay for quality. Then hide the bottle when workmen come to the house, or they will (sometimes) walk away with it.
Made that mistake, once. 
It's worth more when the workmen sleeping on your lawn say it.."Whizkey nice whizkey, izz it home time yet hic..hic.

The word whisky (or whiskey) is an anglicisation of the Gaelic word uisce|uisge meaning water. Distilled alcohol was known in Latin as aqua vitae = "water of life". This was translated to Gaelic as Irish: uisce beatha and Scottish Gaelic: uisge beatha = "lively water" or "water of life". Early forms of the word in English included uskebeaghe (1581), usquebaugh (1610), usquebath (1621), usquebae (1715)

This vintage metal sign is a replica of time gone by. It is hand made in the USA using heavy gauge american steel and a process known as sublimation, where the image is baked into a powder coating for a durable and long lasting finish. It then undergoes a vintaging process by hand to give it an aged look and feel.

Whiskey and women obviousy interest me, and making paint is my job. Powder coatings are poyesters (usually) that are sprayed on metal and cross linked via baking. They develop a very tough film. Earlier in my career, I made coatings tha were similar but in liquid form. Thanks for the interesting post!

Thats interesting...I ordered this sign for a beverage area in my house It looks like a lot of fun...
