I meant strongest gear, but sure, even if Steve gets creative, journey mode has invincibility, infinite items, control over time and weather, control over how many enemies spawn, control over the difficulty of the world, everything.
he has slain gods.
Same with Steve. Steve has met the legend himself, technoblade.
