Another interesting specie is the harvestman. it's actually not a real spider, They are just arachnids that, if im correct, are actually more correlated to scorpions, but they are also inoffensive. Here is a image:
Why are people usually afraid of spiders?
From a quick research that i have done, this as you guessed in your first post, can be related with the evolution. there is a hypothesis that indicates our ancestors evolved to fear the spiders, probably because they thought spiders were dangerous:
However there are some inconsistencies with this:
1.- only 0.5% species of spiders have some potential of being dangerous to human species.
2.- Most of the spiders are not found in africa were the humans first started to evolve. They are mostly found in australia and south america, and those places were colonized much later.
So that hypothesis is not completely proven. But i guess people from today just find them gross
Either they find it gross, or they had a traumatic experience with a poisonous spider in the past that bit them, so they associate spiders with something dangerous

Yeah, i assume some people had bad experiences with poisonous spiders.
An example of a poisonous spider that is actually dangerous is the violinist.
If this spider bites you, you are in trouble. Because it's venom can dissolve tissue. It's venom has powerful enzymes, that can end with nearly everything that is protein, and it's effect can be up to 10 times more powerful than sulfuric burns. If you have to be afraid of some spider, it has to be from this one. Be careful about the violinists
This is why you should keep alive spiders like the scytodes globula. The scytodes globula, apart from being a beautiful spider, is the natural predator of the dangerous violinist spiders. That's because this specie can spit a very sticky web that can immobilize it's prey
There are a lot of spiders that can bite and some others that are poisonous (such as the violinist spider). But there are also completely inoffensive spiders such as the Pholcus phalangioides, or some that are even helpful such as the scytodes globula (as they often are predators of the violinist spiders) yet i see a lot of people are scared of them (I also used to be scared of them in the past, not anymore though).

It seems that the human brain works in a way that when it sees a spider, it automatically relates it to something that is dangerous. Is this behavior related to something biological or evolutional? seems like an interesting topic to me.
what do you feel when you see a spider?

Here is an image of the pholcus phalangioides (This spider is actually quite common where i live)
