Because the sky has no limit.
Why do they say the sky is the limit if someone has step foot on the moon
007 once fell from the sky.....
we fell from the stars, even better. we're all stardust

A quote by Paul Brandt is actually,
"Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon."
I agree with this quote, however, The Oxford Dictionary's definition of "sky" is "the space above the earth that you can see when you look up, where clouds and the sun, moon and stars appear" so the moon would count according to that definition.
A more realistic version of the quote (by me) would be "Don't tell me the sky's the limit when we've sent satellites to the edge of our solar system."
Anyway... yeah...

yea but does the moon technically count because that's where the stars, moon, clouds, and sun appear but to actually step on the moon you would have to go past the sky because you would have passed the clouds.
yea thats prlly true because they still prlly thaought the world was flat when that was made to
Interestingly, the Bible talks about the 'circle of the earth' thousands of years before Columbus.
You'll be more surprised when you read what other older books have to say.
I doubt it... pretty much all supposedly older texts simply contain hymns, mantras, spells, ancient 'medicine' etc and are not very valuable in confirming science.
Precisely why you'll be surprised if you actually read them instead of just listening to propaganda/marketing/evangelism.

Yeah the landing was fake, the earth is flat, and the moon is just a reflection of light hitting my toilet bowl!

He sits enthroned -- A throne is in a high position. -- upon the circle of the earth.---- looking down from the throne, you see the earth as a circle.-- and His people are like grasshoppers. -- People look like tiny grasshoppers to Him from above.
Isaiah 40 22
Just found it XD

The random thoughts that come into my head, I tell ya.... But really why???

So, if you are standing on the moon, you can look up into the sky. That is the moon's sky. Otherwise, you have to make up a new word - "I'm looking up into the ...." the what? Finish this sentence. And as for footprints, that would be looking at the ground. Not the sky. Not even the moon's sky... why am I even writing on this ridiculous thread? MORE COFFEE PLEASE !!!
