i agre, i don't know why this happens; it is anonying because you play a 1k+ point higher rated person; then still only get 16.

Ofc u lose 8. If he was exponentially higher you would lose like 2 because the computer would realize you sucka nd ur opponent is good so u wont suffer much. If u were like 2000 and ur opponent was 1000 and u lost you could lose like 30 because you op and he suck yet u still lose.
Elo gain will also fluctuate if you don't play that time control for a while (I gained 14 blitz elo this morning)
Yeah, but I played someone that was 1000 POINTS HIGHER THAN ME!
