Why does the Queen have more mobility in chess than the king?

I think Queen have more mobility in chess than the king because if the king were more fast, the other pieces will catch him never.

6 like when my grandma plays checkers with me and when she says king me she just slides her king all over the board saying a king can slide when in reality it cant 😅
