Why I Luv the DH in Baseball !

GO JAYS GO !!! --- they have won 11 games in a row --- they lead the AL East --- GO JAYS GO !!!

So the Jays got into the post-season for the first time in 22 yrs but they have lost the first 2 games in a best of 5 series, things don't look too good ( btw I do prefer a best of 7 format ).

The Cubs are going to win the World Series and prove Back to the Future 2 was accurate.

Thanks for the post 17Riley. --- Well Boston got out from under their curse a few years ago so there is hope for the Cubs.

I wonder what other things will be proven true from Back to the Future. Maybe the whole was based on a true story...

Ah good question 17Riley, maybe someone in Hollywood has a crystal ball.

Well the Jays have won 3 games in a row over Texas and now go on to the next round.

Oh and I forgot to add the other day: GO JAYS GO !!!

Thanks for the post 17Rileyc.   ---   Well the Jays are down 3 games to 1 in this next series against KC. Some people might say it isn't over until the fat lady sings. It may have been my imagination but I thought I saw a rather large chubby lady warming up the other day  lol.   

Well the Jays won another game so now we have 3 games for KC and 2 games for Toronto, things are getting interesting.

It's going down for real now.

Thanks for the post 17Rley.   ---   Well there is good news and bad news. Re the bad news it seems that my hope for a Blue Jays vs Cubs World Series has been dashed ( it will be KC & the Mets ). As for the good news, only 5 months to spring training !!!   

 And KC wins the World Series over the Mets, 4 games to 1 ( sorry New York  lol ).            

That's a shame. I blame the government.

Well you never know what the governments are up to, I mean there is that secret ufo base out in Arizona. 

Spoiler Alert ! Before you know it we will be into the month of Febuary and it will be time for the Pitchers & Catchers to report for Spring training ( it's been several monhts but let's try it now: GO JAYS GO !!! ).

   ---   GO JAYS GO !!!   ---   Yes indeed the Pitchers & Catchers are now into Spring training, just a few more weeks and then MLB will be back.   ---   GO JAYS GO !!! 

i'm a big fan of the game, but this time of year i have never been excited about spring training. i will admit there is something special about opening day, but, the season is too long.

there are significant sporting events that happen at the beginning of the baseball season that grab my attention while baseball teams are sometimes trying to figure out who they are.

the masters and march madness are two of them. the nba finals are in june. while that is considered near the middle of the season for baseball, many games have nowhere near the value of winning a green jacket, or, a championship.

Thanks for the post AlCzervik. I used to watch a lot of baseball on TV back when I had cable ( & before that goofy Selig destroyed the 1994 season ). Of course 1992 & 1993 were the best season ever, for me   lol.
