Why I Luv The DH ( Part II )

Thanks for the post Strangemover. Yes a lot of people were cheering for Washington and Ovechkin. For those of us who missed the playoffs we are of course waiting for the 2018 -19 season to start  lol.

The beauty of sport is that there is always next year 😀

as a lifelong cubs fan, we were always known to say, "wait 'til next year". 

as far as the beauty of sport, i think it is because it is truly reality tv. 

With the Edmonton Oilers and the Calgary Flames NHL teams both being here in the same province we have the " Battle Of Alberta " going on each year. Tonight we have a pre-season game with both of these teams ( yup it's " Hockey Night in Canada " ! ). So just let the Ref drop the Puck and we are underway for another season. 

And the Red Sox win the Series in 5 games.

And it is Hockey Night in Canada ! Yes the NHL is back and the Vancouver Canucks are in Edmonton to play the Oilers ( GO Oil GO !!! ). 

i don't get into hockey or basketball as i used to. the season is so long and virtually every team seems to make the playoffs.

i do want to see zion in action, though.

Who is the number 1 draft pick this year? 

Thanks for the posts. Edmonton is having a bit of a problem with a top pick from a couple of years ago ( Jesse Ppuljujavri ). He is from Finland and has returned to Europe for the season.

   ---   And Edmonton did well for the first 20 games or so but have slowed down a bit recently. I have a game on the radio right now as Edmonton is playing in St. Louis today.
