Why people are using fake profiles? Comments welcome!

Well, never found a fake Magnus Carlsen or a fake Viswanathan Anand here, I think that are more problematic the users which play with a software which help them to select best moves, or who leave after that I killed his/her queen after few moves on opening phase. These players are the worst player that you can find online, and they ruin the experience to everyone. Also if I had killed your queen, you can use your 2 towers to give me problems and a better game experience.....no?

People do that likely to lure others into gifting them, flirting, etc. It's kinda creepy that people do it. But other then that i don't really know

Another part of it is this my opinion: Once i put my Credit card details somewhere, im not willing to share my complete real identity to everyone there. Reasons are obvious... If i have Premium membership for free, like GMs, Moderators, Streamers etc. have, would be different story, but it is not my case.

I am real. However, I sometimes assume gaseous form. I also go to bat for my favorite causes.

Some anti social elements have crept in many social networking websites in different names to set their hidden agendas. But, they cannot survive there for a long time. Since their words and deeds are abusive in nature, they will perish after some time.

One of the ways to understand a person is to read their description in their profile. Some people simply boast a lot by writing so many things in their profile just to get attention. In reality, they will be cowards and somewhat anti social elements.
