This is one disappearance I am sad to see. I hope she does come back, but more than that I hope she gets what she needs from the break.
Yeah, I remember that thread. I feel like it's a bit much to call them fascists, but they did show they're far more concerned with establishing that they're the ones choosing the course they're on than they are about making sure it's a sensical one. I don't think the people that run this place have a clue what they're doing (or are just too overwhelmed), and I think they're either too scared or self-absorbed to admit it.

you know fascists might not think as badly of chess people, so maybe people are not progressing into the light as much as they may hope.
