Why was @GChess's mod tag removed?
Sort:
that account is a staff's alt(I think), so either a staff quit the team, or they just wanted this to be their normal alt and not their moderator one idk

Well, @GChess was a mod, but his moderator status got removed, so I was asking if anyone knew why.

If it was a staff member's alt, it would have a staff tag, not a mod tag, so that's ruled out too.

I believe staff can have 3 accounts, their main, which has the staff tag, their secondary alt or something, which has a mod tag, and their normal account, with no tag. I could be wrong though, you should ask them yourself
