Love him, hate him, or anything in between, everyone knows that TC does not swear, treats everyone good, does not do hate speech or anything else questionable.

I hope cc will reconsider muting this guy. He said that he was not even told why he was muted and that the mute will stay in effect until December.

December is less than two weeks away.

He can write to support@chess.com to find out why.

It happens to a lot of people. It has happened to me. The last time it happened to me, I forgot to carefully check the URL of a post I had quoted.

Dec 24th!

You're right, he should protest that to staff. That seems a pretty stiff penalty for someone who always seems to play by the rules. Maybe one of their censorship bots zapped him.

Personally, I find his posts are mostly silly or irrelevant to the topic, but chess.com would be a pretty silent place if you muted everybody for that.

Avatar of MegaCharizardLeo

you don't know what he did, he could have been rude to someone else. He also could have been wrongly muted

Avatar of Benjibass

I bet people that did not agree with his thoughts and had no respect for him reported him

Avatar of Benjibass

Or he coulda beat someone in a debate

Avatar of Benjibass

I would expect such things from many people i have met on here

Avatar of odyson

Yeah, but none of that is activity that gets you muted.

Was he muted by OD or by chess.com?

Avatar of LiteDave

People who are muted by chess.com should be told why they are muted.  Because, among other reasons, the mutes are sometimes mistakes.
