I propise an economic partnership with Redonia, investing large amounts in its oil reserves, hoping to invigorate the Federation’s economy.

The war in Tanistan has the Bluean military urging the government of Tanistan’s soldiers to surrender, asking if they want to fight for a government that k*ll*d their brothers and sisters. I use the bomb blast in Baghdad to further justify the war, crushing the already broken military of Tanistan.

I propose a bill in Congress advocating for greater transparency in institutions, targeting corruption and putting it in the limelight, also highlighting efforts to improve the economy.

I criticise the Purple for literally doing 19th century stuff in the 21st century.

Aftermath of the Ultraviolet Explosion in Baghdad

We've managed to compile all the facts that are currently out here. Not much in the way of organization.

• The identity of the group or person that set this off has yet to be seen, with no one claiming responsibility for the attack.
• The entirety of the Tanistan Armed Forces has collapsed overnight, Tanistan itself has begun to spiral into chaos. Nearly the entirety of the government was killed in the attack, and with no one left to take charge, Tanistan has collapsed utterly, with factions arising and fighting all over the middle east.
• Nearly all oil extraction and infrastructure for such in Tanistan has been destroyed. Experts predict a "global oil crisis" soon, seeing as Tanistan exports at least 70% of the world's oil.

Orangean Political Crisis

Once again, Orangean is on the brink of civil war. The National Assembly had to be shut down earlier today because a gunfight almost broke out. A nationalist politician pulled a revolver on a collectivist, firing several shots and missing all of them. He was detained by security just seconds after, but the event has nudged Orangean closer to the brink. All that's left now is for the singular spark to light the gunpowder barrel that is Orangean. Hopefully the presidential communion with the people tomorrow will be able to relieve the tension.

Just earlier this week, a defector from the Fourth Cyan Republic has fled to Bluean to inform them of the fact of them having a secret ultraviolet program, leaking nearly 100 classified documents to the government, proving the fact that Cyan has been working on creating Ultraviolet bombs. This has sent a shockwave throughout the world, one that has not been fully felt yet.

Fractures in the Purplish Commonwealth

Ever since the Purplish Commonwealth began to colonize land between India and Australia, things have been unstable to say the least. Just recently, Canada has requested to leave the Commonwealth, stating that: "The benefits of staying in the commonwealth are outweighed by the downsides. We cannot afford any longer to be associated with the Purplish." This could start a chain reaction that could potentially lead to a total collapse of the Purplish colonial hegemony, and the Purplish have yet to respond.

Redonia is Doing Fine, Actually

In a strange twist, Redonia is actually faring the best right now. After being put into power, Ruby has begun to crack down on crime and warlordism, and partnered with Bluean, having begun to recuperate their economy. Public opinion has skyrocketed, and things only seem to be getting better from here.

I smirk evilly in private and take full advantage of the situation in Tanistan, seizing the entirety of its oil reserves. I then ask for the UC to collectively help the people of Tanistan while firmly establishing my military presence, ostensibly to ensure the smooth flow of humanitarian aid. Major corporations are now allowed to set up infrastructure in Tanistan to extract the oil, part of my mission to ensure economic development for the Federation.

I give an ultimatum to Cyan, demanding that it stop its nuclear program immediately and destroy all infrastructure linked to it. I give the defector security.

Orangean Leader Assassinated!

In an attempt to curb the growing polarity between the different parties of the National Assembly, the Orangean president attempted to hold a meeting with the public in order to address their issues. Halfway through the event, an unidentified person, pulled out a Brown 1912, and shot the leader five times in the chest before being bodypiled by the crowd. The leader was pronounced dead on the spot by paramedics.

This has been the last straw for the different factions, the last spark needed to start the brewing civil war in Orangean. Already paramilitaries for the nationalists, the separatists and the collectivists have begun to clash in the streets of Orangean, with cities and even the military choosing sides. It seems the Orangean Civil War has begun.
