World War 3 RP

(Note: I got bored of doing nothing so I decided to go back to RPs. Hope someone joins.)

Approx. 16:00

It was a quiet winter afternoon when the first reports came in. NORAD had tracked a sensor, coming from North Korea, moving directly toward Washington. The news had circulated quickly, moving from organization to organization with a panic and speed never seen before. The United States Strategic Command, National Military Command Center, and they all came up with the same conclusion. This was a very real, very dangerous nuclear attack, aimed straight at the White House.

DEFCON was moved to 1, the president rushed to a secure location, and the nuclear option was presented. EAS alerts and klaxons and everything and something blared out dozens of alerts and reports and warnings and prophecies of doom in nuclear hellfire. The people trampled each other to get to some sort of safe space, some shelter to escape the long hand of the certain end.

All across the world, although they didn’t know it, events have been set in place that cannot be stopped. The dominoes have begun, and they will not stop.

In Russia, their own crisis had begun. Almost without warning, the People’s Liberation Army had mobilized their own forces, beginning a massive offensive throughout Manchuria into Siberia. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had begun their own defense against the unexpected assault, fighting raging across the entire Sino-Russian border.

As news of this assault began, panic erupted all throughout the world, as both sides considered the use of nuclear weapons, the world standing on the brink of destruction.

To put it simply, World War Three.

The factories whir to life, the guns spit fire and hatred and death.

This is a conflict between worlds.

There can be no peaceful resolution.

also, random events might happen, like a civil war or a natural disaster.

Another thing is that basically the only thing from the real world that does  not transfers to the RP are the alliances. What I mean is NATO and the other irl alliances don’t exist
