The teachers says “No, not unless you need to use the restroom, if you injure yourself, or if there is a fire.”

You can, if you like. But you don’t need to eat, unless you want more energy to run faster.

Yes, there is a PB&J sandwich, Some Pringle’s, a water Bottle, some baby carrots, and a large Nestlé  Crunch Bar. Eating any of this will give you more energy, and strength. 
also, a reminder that you took this with you when you went to the restroom.

There are a few vents on the ceiling, including one only a few feet away from the door, but they seem to be out of your reach. If only you had a ladder...

Down the hall to the right of detention, since the bathroom is down the hall to the left, you have to go further right.

You do this. the janitor comes, plunger in hand, and goes in to unclog it. The way is now clear.

You run like a mad lad to the closet, and try to fling it open, only to realize that it is locked, you see that the janitors cart is right next to the closet though. .

I run up to a wall and bonk my head on it. 

You do this, and get a large bruise on your forehead. “Seriously?” The teacher rolls her eyes, before calling the nurse to take you to the health room. “It will be a second before she gets her”

I choose a very, very, very sharp pencil.

You find several cleaning supplies, a pair of screwdrivers, a monkey wrench, a pair of adjustable pliers, a hammer, and a crowbar. 

Cool, you wake up in detention, you see 4 rows of desks, each with 5 rows. You are in the center of the third row.

You wait patently, the nurse then arrives. The nurse, upon seeing your self inflicted injury, says “oh you poor little thing, let’s get you fixed up”, and takes you to the health room.

OK so if I'm in the hallway, I see if the nurse is paying attention to me

You look at her and notice she is very much paying attention to you.
