Since the day my account was opened.

Moderators have a private account for normal use, e.g. when other people can see our screens (so we don't accidentally show moderator-only data or functions). On the day we became moderators we created a separate account.

Sure, who doesn't? They're nice and fluffy.

Keeping the chess community clean is a good feeling.

I also enjoy the community of fellow moderators. I've met many in person at chess events or twitchCon.

We mods select what we do, and everything is voluntary.

It often feels like there are a many babies posting here on chess.com… we're handling it.

What would you change it to?

As a child, a dog bit my face. I still have a scar. So I tend to be a bit on the cautious.

But sure, a well-behaved dog is awesome, a reliable partner. Or just a fluffy ball.

I'm not familiar with the specific individual, but as a moderator, I'm not a fan of any kind of trolls.

In the Lord of the Rings, I loved the elves, wizards, dwarves, hobbits, and men. Didn't care much for the trolls tbh.

Absolutely, it's delicious. Not sure why it gets so much hate, rather than ultra-spicy food which is actual problematic to consume.

Not only is the typography incorrect, you can drop all the exclamation marks without losing any content. My Improver's Journey, July 2025: Improving my schedule. is a much better title.

The introductory text is mostly redundant with the list of contents. Make it one or two sentences.
