yo anyone know how to bypass light speed filter agent on a school chromebook?

  1. go to https://archive.org/download/gameboxm3_gba
  2. download whatever game(s) you want
  3. turn off wifi
  4. go to GBA.44670.org (and yes, it does work offline)
  5. go to chrome://extensions and flip the "Allow access to file URLs switch" (this will refresh the extension, except it can't b/c there's no WiFi)
  6. go to the site mentioned in step 4
  7. where it says "Choose File" upload your .gba rom file and play

Ask me for any more questions and let me know if this worked, b/c my school has Lightspeed and this works just fine for me

btw, just to remind you you can access this site (GBA.44670.org) as many times as you want wherever b/c it doesn't need WiFi to work

one more thing: I am still working on ways to ACTUALLY have all websites unblocked, and I will let y'all know when I find something

Edit: sorry I accidentally put .com instead of .org

It's also worth mentioning that some of my favorite GBA games are not in this file archive (like Street Fighter Alpha 3). HOWEVER, there are more archives on the website mentioned that offers some different options.

This worked for a few days but now it automatically closes whenever I open it, is there any other way to open the link without the tab instantly closing?

bisonboskin69

Ca someone please tell me how to block light speed, because all of the ways are blocked.

Lax1dude_1

there are some ways you can do it for example go on a seperate device and clear the extension there or disable admin mode which is risky but is a 100% garentee that it will work.

Lax1dude_1

Also the shortcut for disableing admin mode is as following

1. Shut Down Your Chromebook:
Ensure your Chromebook is completely turned off.
2. Enter Recovery Mode:
Press and hold the Refresh (circular arrow) key.
While holding the Refresh key, press and hold the Power button.
Continue holding both keys until you see a message like "Chrome OS is missing or damaged".
3. Powerwash and Revert:
A reset window should appear. Click on "Powerwash and Revert".
4. Follow On-Screen Instructions:
The Chromebook will then start the factory reset process.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset and sign in with your Google account to set it up.
Alternative Method (for some models):
If the above method doesn't work, try pressing Esc + Refresh + Power.
This might require you to press Ctrl + D at a later stage to enter developer mode.
Follow the on-screen prompts and the instructions may vary depending on your Chromebook model.

yeah, if anyone knows how to get past that, that would be great.

FIRST TIME SETUP ONLY:

Open a new tab and go to this link:

chrome-extension://%61%64%6B%63%70%6B%70%67%68%61%68%6D%62%6F%70%6B%6A%63%68%6F%62%69%65%63%6B%65%6F%61%6F%65%65%6D//%6D%61%6E%69%66%65%73%74%2E%6A%73%6F%6E

Press Ctrl+P to open print menu

Click “More settings” and change things until the number of pages reaches a number over 50:
This includes manually dragging margins to be custom and as small as possible and setting to 200 scale (see image below)

If the print menu doesn’t load, change paper size to “legal” and it should load. After it loads, change it back to A5 and continue with the steps.

After you see the 50+ page count, close the tab (you don’t need to save) and continue with the steps below

AFTER FIRST TIME SETUP:

Open a new tab and go to this link:

chrome-extension://%61%64%6B%63%70%6B%70%67%68%61%68%6D%62%6F%70%6B%6A%63%68%6F%62%69%65%63%6B%65%6F%61%6F%65%65%6D//%6D%61%69%6E%2E%6A%73

Let go of the tab and immediately press Ctrl+P to open the print menu

After about 30-45 seconds, a page number of around 200,000 should appear
(If this number is less, you did the first time setup wrong, or need to do it again)

While the menu is still open, refresh the tab. This should hang the page as it loads indefinitely

Right click the tab at the top of the screen and press duplicate

Open a new tab and press the puzzle piece icon in the top right of chrome, then click manage extensions, then the details button under Lightspeed Filter
- Fun fact, if you refresh this page, your chromebook restarts

Scroll down and toggle the option for "allow access to file URLs"
