Last horror i watched was the Conjuring but that doesn't scare much me though.
I liked The Shining too, it's an iconic movie with many famous scenes and Jack Nicholson's performance. I never really found it scary, oddly. Plus it's forever tied in my mind with the hilarious Simpsons spoof, so the whole concept is more funny than scary to me.
First I thought you were joking about Apollo 18, but turns out it's a real horror movie. Never heard of it, interesting.

Even though it's not horror my fav English movies were The Shawshank Redemption, Hotel Rwanda, Blood Diamond, Hacksaw Ridge, 13 Hours , Act of valor, The 33 and few more

Seven was scary only because I never knew Brad Pitt could go over the top like that. Kevin Spacey was cool as usual.

Exorcist was the one that haunted me after watching. My first account here was a tribute to that. ;-)
The Exorcist is my favorite. The Shining is runner-up.
I've never seen the Exorcist. Would it still be worth watching and scary given how it's such a part of pop culture and most of the scenes and lines are known?

Sure, it's a must watch.. The one with Richard Burton is good for a laugh & cringe.
Hi, a bit of randomness here. Halloween is coming up, so I'm curious what everyone's favorite horror movies are. Here is my top-10 list. Not ranked further within the list, just listed randomly. I've seen various other good scary movies in my life (and far too many bad ones), but these impacted me and stuck in my memory.
