At 10:44 PM Pacific time I was playing on chess.com via my ipad using the chess app.  I was playing ChessJelly.  When my moves began to be played for me.  I could not stop it from happening reguardless of what I tried.  I deleted the app form my ipad.  Not happy at all.  Would like to know what is going on and what is going to be done about it.

I can play on chess.com via the net just fine. Password was not the problem The problem was with the app only.

Everything will still work with a weak password. It'll work for both you and the hackers.

I do not believe my account was hacked. As I said the hack did not effect my ability to use chess.com via a pc or an iPad via the web. It only effected my ability to play via the app. That is what leads me to view this as an app issue not a password issue.

You think the app just spontaneously started playing moves on your behalf? :P

Were they good moves? Maybe I should install this app.

LOL

I installed this program, hmm, what was its name, some kind of German fellow. It too hacked my chess.com account and played some damn good moves on my behalf.

(Just kidding!)

This is just happened to me as well. Went to play live chess. First game, moves happening on there own. Could not stop it. Crappy moves too boot. Closed app and started live chess again. Did not happen again. Very weird
