Another way for chess.com to handle this would be to provide sorting the games list on various columns (in this case, Time Left), in both ascending and descending orders.

Actually, that's not true. They are still in reverse order! The latest replies appear at the top of the list.

Actually, that's not true. They are still in reverse order! The latest replies appear at the top of the list.
Once all your games have the same time control you can ignore the alerts list and go directly to the list of games.
