As a premium member why did I receive a third party advert (message) for the above web site ?

Is this not against the site promises and are we to expect adverts for all of Eric's new enterprises?

I agree. This is not serious, nor professional, nor... anything good to me.

I also received the message, which my brain quickly classified as spam. And since the sender was the owner of Chess.com, to whom some of us are giving our money, it bothered far more than all spam I already know.

But it does not matter: it is easy to delete messages and, look, it might be useful information after all, as it may help me to choose more wisely the destination of my money in the future.

I think it's a not-so-subtle way of saying that internet chess players need to get off our butts every once in a while.

Maybe... although being an adult I do not need spam to save my life.

And you know, it is not only about the ad, but also a matter of taste -bad taste in this case. With all those before/after pictures... the message resembled one of those "enlargement" spam messages (despite focusing on different parts of body, of course).
