Platinum Membership?

I am currently a Gold member (or else i wouldn't be able to post here.) and I am thinking of upgrading to Platinum. Does anyone who is Platinum reccomend it? If you do, can you please post?

I find the resources to be excellent and my game is improving a great deal as a result. I was naturally around the 1400 mark, 1500 with practice, but now I'm learning openings and analysing my games through chess.com and I'm up to 1650 in less than 2 months. If the rate of improvement continues anywhere near that, then it's been a great investment.

Obviously it's a lot of money to most members, so think about it carefully...check exactly what you get on the memberships link under the members tab at the top of the page.

In summary, for me it's excellent!

all staff is autommaticaly diamond, i think. And diamond posters are ok.

I would recommend it totally, I have used my extra features in many ways, I was able to organise a 2 group tournament for some friends, I use the games explorer to review games of my opponents so as to know what lines they play less well than others, I have the ability to look at everyone's games archives which can be useful and I've used the comp analysis feature a fair bit too.  I signed up too early for the free 50 hours of chess mentor but I'm looking forward to using that when I renew. I spend a lot of time here for less money for a year than my satellite tv for a month or a good seat at a concert of sporting event...go for it.

I just bought Platinum a couple days ago and I'm loving it. You would too.

I just got the platinum membership too.  Just being able to give out one free gold membership to a friend is worth it.  And all the extra features you get are really good too.

I recently bought a platinum membership and am very happy with it. I am learning a lot and sometimes get information overload, but thats ok.  I got the T-shirt in about a week and it looks sweet, I wear it proudly.

I also have a platinum membership, with a name like mine, I just had to have that pretty crown next to it. I was disappointed that I could not give my gold membership away, (because you can not do it anonymously, I don't mind someone  knowing Queenie gave it to them, but no to have to know my personal details). and it seemed like an empty benefit for me. Plus I still have not received my t-shirt, ......... 

but I do like all the other benefits you get from it.
