tactics trainer

tactics trainer was working fine. Now it won't let me finish puzzles? sometimes it will, sometimes it won't, it's like it freezes or something? My rating is getting ruined,even though i'm getting some of the puzzles right! I don't want to use it until i get some help to fix it! Can somebody help me out! Its really frustrating??????

I would just like to ask a few question to help identify the problem and hopefully be able to provide a solution.

1) What device are you using? (PC/Laptop, Tablet, Smartphone)

2)What Operating System? (Windows XP/Vista/7, Mac, Ubuntu, Android, Iphone)

3) What browser are you using (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari)

hy hydra! i'm using a acer aspire pc.Its got windows xp,IE browser,it gives me the google web page,etc.I joined the site fri 27th april.First 2weeks have been problem free,but in the last 2-3days it is behaving strangely? I did spill a tiny bit of water on the mouse pad, but i dried it out,so it is good to use again! I'v been using it on other web sites with no trouble so i'm pretty sure its not the mouse or any device of mine but i'll keep a check! Tried TT today and it was doing it again ??? letting me solve some puzzles,when it felt like it,then when i would solve a puzzle it wouldn't let me finish it,getting the puzzle right! only to be shown my tactics rating getting smaller & smaller???

it times like these i could create a new swearword!!! lol

your problem most likely is the browser you are using,

I would suggest using either mozilla firefox or google chrome, they are much better supported, thanks

i tried google chrome? don't like it lots of annoying things about it.Mozilla firefox sounds good! will give these a try though! thanks!!!!!!!!

what i don't understand though is if i've been using windows xp and my set up on my pc,then why was it working perfectly for 2weeks, then BANG!!!!!! No tactics trainer, No BIG BOARDS in the live chess, this is really peaving me offwhy would my computer adapt perfectly to chess.com then this crap all of a sudden????????

Yes, it does seem a bit abrupt, to change so fast, but yes there are many issues with internet explorer.

Firefox and chrome are a much better solution
