What are you going to do now?
A completely useless chess server.
I have 1000 Megabit fiber optic internet speed. However, it's impossible to play without lag on this garbage server. And to top it all off, there's a chess software that has many problems on a Macbook.
The quality of the connection to your ISP is only a small part of the connection. There are a lot of pieces of equipment between your ISP and the site servers, any of which can introduce issues.
For things you can do on your end to minimize connection related issues, check out the following articles.

Measured ping 17-20. The modem is in downstairs, but it's being moved upstairs with a booster. The internet speed on the computer I use to play chess is 978 megabits. On the floor where the modem is located, it's 1022 megabits.
So the problem is definitely not with me. The problem is definitely with the inadequate chess.com server.
Furthermore, 95% of the chess players on this server are long-time chess players. When playing long-time chess, the lag on the server doesn't bother the players.
However, I'm a quick chess player who plays for only one minute. Therefore, to understand how inadequate this server is, start playing quick chess.
You'll agree with me.

Again, your local connection and ISP is only a small part of the connection path. A very large number of people play fast time controls with little to no issues.
Most players who don't experience lag live in the US. So it's a matter of server distance. I'm not in the US. Therefore, server distance is the most important factor in lag on this or similar game servers. Lag is very high during peak hours when the server's DNS servers are very busy. The upload speed from the other side, chess.com's server, is delayed due to the high DNS traffic.
I apologize profusely for explaining it as if I were explaining it to an imbecile. I don't understand why it's so hard to accept that the problem lies with chess.com.
If you want, I can explain the issue in a more technical way.

With the exception of tournaments, there are multiple live servers in the world. Which one you connect to, for any given game, is decided when your paired. So distance does play a part, bit the equipment between you and the live server you connect to matters too.

DNS doesn't cause slowness.
I think you’re opponents lag also factors in but I am not sure
Your opponent's lag doesn't impact your connection, but the pairing determines where the game gets played
I am lower elo but your game seem end more with checkmate and I can see how much time it take you to move i think it's pretty vaild
Yes Fet. Finally, you've given the only sensible comment on this. Yes, you're right. The reason for the lag is that there aren't any servers in Türkiye, and there aren't any supporting chess.com servers near Türkiye either. It's good to talk to intelligent people. Thanks.
