A problem with how most of the lesson are presented

I have been a member for a few years now trying to improve my game over all. Although my game is improving slowly, I have a major problem. I am serverely  dyslexic and can only take in small amounts of information at a time. Some of the lesson are over 20 minites long, then you go through a few routines. by that time I have forgotten most of the lesson.

Could you put on more lessons like G.M. Ben Finegold, some of his lessons I have completed and remembered most of of the lesson.

When openings are covered I would like to see the very begging move covered more slowly an not just brushed over.

Taking notes in an option, but that might not be what you want. I haven’t really gone through many lessons in chess.com, so I might not be able to help you. What I can think of is that you start watching videos in YouTube for your level in case you want to improve with videos. I don’t really believe videos are that much effective for beginners, but I also don’t watch much chess videos, so I don’t know.

Hi friends,

There were a few reasons I joined chess com, was the way it was set up the puzzles were good, the lesson and there are more than I could ever go through, and I wanted to play better chess. I have severe dyslexia, both visually and audibly and a low working memory so at this stage do not provide me with a lot of useful help.

My game is in my opinion is one dimensional and I would like to improve. I also had no intension of playing on line, as I had never played chess with any one apart from my brother. I now find playing on line alluring. I do not play any games shorter than 10 minutes as I miss to much visually and loss.

So in retrospect I would greatly appreciate some more shorter lessons.
