Yes I would like to see this feature as well. The issue is even worse since if it's the opponents move, the move will be made by the highest rated bot before you can change it.

It is tedious to have to scroll though all the bots every time you want to play the computer. Please add the ability to set a default bot or engine level. Thanks.

Hello all! Thanks for bringing this up - it's a reasonable expectation to have.
- I'll aggregate this feedback to be brought up to the team. That said, we will have a new feature to practice against the computer coming out soon that might tackle this issue! Hang in there.

I also would like this feature. I've noticed that when I change the bot from maximum to for example Martin (250 Elo) and Play out the position, the moves are the exact same as the maximum bot. So I don't think that changing the bot is actually working for me. I'm on Safari if that matters

Love the site. Whenever I'm analyzing a game and I click on 'practice with computer' I get automatically paired with a 3200 bot, which is overkill for my low elo. So I manually change it to something like 1500. Could there be a setting that users can save that chooses the default bot level you want to practice against? Or save the previously used bot level for future occasions?
