For chess.com events? You will still see those.
Something else? You should take a screenshot and report it to support@chess.com.
I get Apple ads, tennis - really annoying. I will mail them direct with screenshots, cheers.
Still getting ads, Chess support don’t seem to be able to help. I’ve paid premium and get served Apple phone ads etc.

What has been the Support team's response?
One thing to check: what account is your iPad logged in with? Maybe you've accidentally created a new account and that's why it's getting ads.
They’re not admitting there’s a problem, saying I will get Chess adverts, but these are commercial ones, not Chess.com events. Yes, I sent a screenshot of an ad, followed by one immediately taken of my account showing me logged in as premium.
Disney adverts now - what’s next?!

Are you logging in through the Safari web browser or through the iOS app?
iOS app on my iPad. I saw the same on my Android phone but rarely use that. This is an iPad game for me. It’s a shame as spoils my fun when I want to flip between my game and watch say Anna or Levy discuss a game. Most the time there’s no ads, then just when I want to connect back I get a boring video ad.
Just tested on Android, got the Disney advert.

Are you posted in this thread from the app or from a desktop? If you could try the former, that would be helpful.
I think he is seeing Twitch ads. He was talking about watching streamers.
No ads on Android premium version on two devices. Are you sure that you are not talking about twitch ads??
Even in the browser (Brave and Safari), I regularly see the Premium upsell ad on https://www.chess.com/home though I've closed the ad many times and have already paid for platinum.
Ah, is it ads from the Twitch streams themselves? I upgraded in park to get shot of them...

Are you subscribed to the Twitch streamers you're watching? I believe that removes the ads from the Twitch stream: if you're just following them, you'll get an ad every so often unless the streamer explicitly schedules one.
Not yet but I will try that on some of my favourite ones - thanks for the tip. Didn’t have a Twitch account until today!

Interesting - I wonder what Twitch account the Chess.com mobile phone apps connect with? If they're just using the Twitch stream, then that's probably the source of those ads - but I don't know if the app lets you watch Twitch with a specific account like the one you've just created - let us know how it goes!
